RIDOT: Airport Connector, Rte. 37 Bridge Work Updates

WARWICK, RI — The RI Department of Transportation (RIDOT) has updated motorist alerts as work on Rte. 37 and the Airport Connector continues through the end of summer.

Now that the Post Road ramps have been milled and paved, travelers can expect one lane of travel in each direction for bridge work on Jefferson Boulevard under the Airport Connector, Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The project includes illuminated gateway signage, the planting of over 20,000 shrubs, trees, ornamental grasses and ground cover, new signage, sculptural fencing, and painting of concrete barrier.
